Cameroon: The State grants a 7,000 m² parcel of land to Türkiye

In a significant gesture of cooperation between Cameroon and Türkiye, the Cameroonian Government recently allocated a 7,372m² parcel of land to Türkiye.  This decision was announced during an official audience between His Excellency Henri Eyebe Ayissi, Minister of State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure, and His Excellency Volkan Öskiper, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye.

This meeting enabled the two representatives to discuss land management issues as well as economic development projects aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.

Minister Eyebe Ayissi emphasised Cameroon's desire to develop strategic partnerships with Türkiye, in a context where both countries are seeking to diversify their cooperation.

This initiative by the Cameroonian State not only illustrates its commitment to infrastructure development and investment projects, but also its willingness to welcome more foreign economic stakeholders.  Ambassador Öskiper hailed this approach and promised to promote relations between the two friendly nations.

The granting of this parcel of land will allow Türkiye to expand its presence in Cameroon, thus paving the way for future investments in key sectors such as agriculture, energy, and construction. This initiative is therefore seen as a springboard to a fruitful collaboration for both countries.

This agreement is part of a strategy aimed at making Cameroon an attractive hub for foreign investments, thereby supporting its economic development while strengthening its international relations.  The two countries seem to be moving towards a positive momentum, which is beneficial to their respective populations

The handing over of a 7 372m² parcel of land to Türkiye marks a landmark step in strengthening relations between Cameroon and Türkiye, demonstrating the willingness of both nations to collaborate for a common future marked by prosperity and fruitful exchanges.
