MINISTER HENRI EYEBE AYISSI RECEIVES THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC

OF CONGO TO CAMEROON

His Excellency Henri Eyebe Ayissi, Minister of State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure (MINDCAF), granted an audience on Tuesday, 5 December 2025, to His Excellency Daniel Ngassiki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Congo to Cameroon. The meeting which held as part of a courtesy visit, also provided an opportunity to review the status of the allocation of a plot of land for the construction of the future Congolese embassy in Yaounde.

Opening the discussions, His Excellency Daniel Ngassiki expressed his Government’s gratitude for the quality of the fraternal relations between Cameroon and the Republic of Congo. He highlighted the importance for his country of having a modern and functional diplomatic mission in Yaounde, as a reflection of the dynamism of bilateral ties. In this regard, he requested the continuation of the process for the allocation of the plot of land to host the new Congolese chancellery.

On his part, Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi welcomed the initiative and reassured his guest of the Cameroonian Government’s readiness to support Congo in the implementation of this strategic project. He also recalled that his Ministry works daily to implement a transparent and secured land policy in line with diplomatic requirements.

The two officials reviewed the administrative steps already completed as well as the remaining procedures to finalise the allocation of the requested plot of land. The Minister instructed his team to continue, with speed and rigour, the actions necessary to bring the project to completion.
