SAGO 2026: Henri Eyebe Ayissi Captivates the Public with His Presentation on Innovation in the Management of National Land
A Highly Attended Conference Reflecting the Public’s Growing Interest in the Land Reforms Undertaken by MINDCAF
As part of the 15th edition of the Government Action Fair (SAGO), the Ministry of State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure (MINDCAF) made a lasting impression on 11 June 2026 with a high-level public conference delivered by Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi on the theme: “MINDCAF: Innovations in the management of national lands in Cameroon”.
From the early hours of the day, a large audience comprising users, students, investors, land-sector professionals, administrative authorities and curious onlookers gathered at the venue dedicated to the presentation. The exceptional turnout reflected the growing interest among Cameroonians in land tenure and State property issues, which lie at the heart of the Government’s development policies.
Before an attentive audience, Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi presented the main innovations introduced by MINDCAF to modernise the management of national lands. His presentation focused in particular on the gradual digitisation of land tenure procedures, the protection of customary land rights, the strengthening of the role of traditional authorities in land management, and mechanisms designed to facilitate access to land for young people, women and investors. These initiatives form part of Government’s impetus to modernise and secure land tenure.
For over an hour, the Minister responded in detail to the numerous questions raised by members of the audience, turning the conference into a genuine forum for civic dialogue. The lively and interactive discussions helped participants to gain a better understanding of the challenges associated with the ongoing reforms and efforts being made to ensure more transparent, equitable and efficient management of national land.
One of the highlights of the day came at the close of the conference, when the Minister visited MINDCAF’s exhibition stand. Welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd, Henri Eyebe Ayissi was given a guided tour of the various exhibition areas showcasing the Ministry’s services and innovations.
At his side, the notable presence of musician Petit-Pays, MINDCAF’s official mascot for SAGO 2026, helped to create a warm and friendly atmosphere. A true icon of Cameroonian music, the artist attracted numerous visitors eager to capture the occasion through photographs and videos, further enhancing the visibility of the Ministry’s stand.
In an atmosphere combining public awareness, accessibility and a celebration of public service, the partnership between Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi and Petit-Pays symbolised MINDCAF’s commitment to bringing the administration closer to citizens and making land issues accessible to as many people as possible.
This remarkable public turnout confirms the success of MINDCAF’s participation in SAGO 2026. It also reflects the relevance of the reforms being undertaken in a sector that is strategic to Cameroon’s economic development, social cohesion and investment attractiveness.
Through this conference and the wide range of activities organised around its exhibition stand, MINDCAF demonstrated that, beyond managing the national land estate, it has become a key player in the modernisation of public administration and the promotion of investment in Cameroon.
